Coming from Major Airports

From Narita (New Tokyo International) Airport, take the JR Narita Express bound for JR Tokyo Station; at Tokyo, change to the JR Line Shinkansen "Nozomi" Super-Express (Bullet Train) headed for Hiroshima. Overall travel would be about 5-6 hours. From Kansai International Airport, take the JR Line "Haruka" Express to Shin-Osaka Station; at Shin-Osaka, change to the JR Line Shinkansen "Nozomi" Super-Express (Bullet Train) headed for Hiroshima. Total travel would be about 3 hours.  From Hiroshima Station, take the municipal Hiro-den Miyajima-line (on-street-railway) towards Miyajima-guchi  for about 20 minutes, and get off at Kamiyacho-Nishi Station.  You can walk to the hotel in 5 minutes.

You can also fly from Narita or Kansai to a local airport in Hiroshima.  That should take about 2 hours.  From Hiroshima Airport, take a 50-minute limousine bus ride down to Hiroshima Bus Center.  From the Bus Center, you can walk to the hotel in 5 minutes.

Coming from Tokyo

Go to Tokyo Station or Shinagawa Station, and take the JR Line Shinkansen "Nozomi" Super-Express (Bullet Train) headed for Hiroshima. That should take just over 4 hours. From Hiroshima Station, take the municipal Hiro-den Miyajima-line (on-street-railway) towards Miyajima-guchi for about 20 minutes, and get off at Kamiyacho-Nishi Station. You can walk to the hotel in 5 minutes.

Coming from Nagoya/Kyoto/Osaka/Fukuoka

Take the the JR Line Shinkansen "Nozomi" Super-Express (Bullet Train) headed for Hiroshima from Nagoya, Kyoto, Shin-Osaka, and Fukuoka Station(s), respectively. The ride should take about 2-3 hours. From Hiroshima Station, take the municipal Hiro-den Miyajima-line (on-street-railway) towards Miyajima-guchi for about 20 minutes, and get off at Kamiyacho-Nishi Station. You can walk to the hotel in 5 minutes.

[By taxi]
From Hiroshima Station, you can also take a cab.  The ride should be about 15 minutes.  Tell the driver to go to “Hotel Park Side in Otemachi, Hiroshima”.

[By bus]
From Hiroshima Airport, take a 50-minute limousine bus ride down to Hiroshima Bus Center.  From the Bus Center, you can walk to the hotel in 5 minutes. 

[By car]
If you are coming by car, take the Sanyo Highway towards Hiroshima IC, then take National Route 54 before entering Prefectural Gion New Route.  From there, it should take 15 minutes. Hotel guests can use reserved parking lots for 1000 yen per night (between hours of 15:00 to 10:00) if available.  There are about 20 spaces.

[Walking from Hiroshima Bus Center]

1. After getting off at the Bus Center, take the escalator on the left down to the first floor.

2. Turn right after stepping out of the escalator, and you should see Sogo (department store) as you walk along.

3. Again turn right at the corner of the big intersection (stay on Sogo’s side).

4. Soon, you will see a crosswalk on the left.  Cross it to the other side where you should see Deodeo (an electric appliance shop).

5. From here, refer to the [Walking from Kamiyacho-Nishi Station].

[Walking from Kamiyacho-Nishi Station]

1. From Hiroshima Station, take the municipal Hiro-den Miyajima-line (on-street-railway) towards Miyajima-guchi  for about 20 minutes, and get off at Kamiyacho-Nishi Station.

2. Cross the crosswalk towards the left.  Walk straight between Deodeo (an electric appliance shop) and Deodeo Watch.

3. Walk straight across the Hondori Shopping Street, and keep going straight.

4. In two minutes, you should see Hotel Park Side to your left.
